Legend has it that Earl Grey tea was born out of pure coincidence: a British sailing clipper was struck by a heavy storm, which broke all the barrels of Bergamot oil and spilled it all over the tea chests also on board. Such accident left us a unique and world renowned gift: an intense black tea with an aroma of the Bergamot orange. Tea-Picking Region: North India, foothills of the Himalayas.
