DetailsDarjeeling tea is often called the 'champagne of tea' because of its delicate flavour and exclusive quality. Cultivated at the eco-plantation Moteviot in the foreland of Himalaya, Julius Meinl Darjeeling Monteviot is a second flush harvested in summer, the main crop season. Thanks to young tea leaves inside, its dry leaves sparkle with colors from light green, golden ochroid, to deep brown, and even black tones. This Darjeeling is a delicate light black tea with pleasant floral aromas, a bright infusion and a nutmeg flavor.
